Melvin A. Baker

Melvin A. Baker

CPA-Retired


Melvin ("Moody") is a lifelong resident of Hamilton, Ohio. He and his wife Jan raised their son and daughter, both who are currently CPAs and Partners with Baker and Associates. Melvin earned a B.S. in Accounting from Miami University. Before becoming a Certified Public Accountant, he practiced Industrial Accounting at Champion International / Controller Distribution Division.


Melvin is a member of AICPA-American Institute Certified Public Accountants, Member of OSCPA- Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, a Lifetime Member of YMCA Board of Directors, Past Chairman of YMCA Board of Directors, and was awarded Small Business Man of the Year – Hamilton, Ohio. He also is the Past President of Miami Valley Chapter of OSCPA and is currently a Member of Advisory Counsel for Hamilton School System and a Member of the Hamilton Rotary Club.

Both at Hamilton High and Miami University, Melvin played on the football team. He was inducted into the Hamilton High School Hall of Fame and the Butler County Hall of Fame.

Karen is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of Miami University with a B.A. in Business Psychology, and also received her MBA with a concentration in Taxation from Xavier University. Before joining Baker and Associates, Karen was a Supervisor of Customer Service and the Order Department at Leshner Textiles .


Karen is a member of OSCPA – Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, Member of AICPA – American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, serves on the Board of The Greater Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, Past Treasurer of the Oxford United Way, Current Treasurer of Hamilton Rotary Club, Current Treasurer of ShareFest, and was the Former Treasurer for seven years at the Butler County YWCA.

Karen enjoys boating, camping, music, and hanging out with friends and family. While at Miami University, she was a four year letter winner in sports, and was inducted into the Hamilton High School Sports Hall of Fame and Butler County Softball Hall of Fame.

Donald Baker

Don was born and raised in Hamilton. He is a graduate of Miami University with a B.S. degree in Accounting. He also has a Masters Degree from Xavier University with a degree in Finance and Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant and has been in business since 1986. He is very involved in the community, having been president of the Boys and Girls Club, Treasurer of the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce and a past member of the Hamilton Rotary. When he isn’t working he enjoys exercising, traveling and spending time with his family. His wife Judith was also born and raised in Hamilton. He is a member of the Hamilton High School Sports Hall of Fame.




Stephen L. Bossert

Steve is a graduate of Ashland College with a B.S. in Business and a Major in Accounting.

As a lifelong resident of Hamilton Ohio, Steve and his wife Kerry have been married for 44 years and have two children and three grandchildren. He is a graduate of Ashland College with a B.S. in Business and is an Accounting major. Over the course of Steve's career, he has been employed in public accounting since 1979. In his spare time, Stephen enjoys working on his British sports cars.. He is also the past treasurer for the Animal Adoption Foundation, F.A.I.T.H. Animal Rescue and Catholic Social Services.

Kris is a native of Ft. Thomas, Kentucky and currently resides in Hamilton, OH. Kris has four children. She is a graduate of Northern Kentucky University with a B.S. in Accounting.

Prior to being a CPA with Baker and Associates, Kris worked at the Internal Revenue Service as a Revenue Agent and Internal Auditing and at Queen of Peace Church practicing nonprofit accounting. 
In her time out of the office, she enjoys reading, playing tennis and being with family.

Kimberly A. Fritsch

Kimberly has been with Baker & Associates CPAs since 2006, and resides in Hamilton with her husband, Brian, and two daughters. She is a graduate of Bowling Green State University with a B.S. in Accounting.

Kimberly is a  Current Board Member – PARACHUTE – Butler County CASA, Current Member of Hamilton Junior Women's League. She has also been the Former Treasurer of the Hamilton Junior Women's League and is involved in annual fundraising for the Maureen L. Fritsch Cancer Assistance Fund set up through the Hamilton Community Foundation.
In her free time, Kimberly enjoys exercising, attending and supporting her daughters’ activities and school functions, spending time with  family and friends.

Ronda is a resident of Hamilton, OH and has 2 children. Ronda has been with Baker & Associates CPAs since 2015.

Krystal is a resident of Oxford, Ohio, and has two children. She graduated from Miami University with a B.S. in Accounting and has been with Baker & Associates since 2014. She enjoys traveling, adventure and spending time with family.

Phyllis is a graduate of Miami University majoring in business technology. She has over 30 years experience working in financial management. Currently, she is serving in the roll as a Payroll Technician assisting clients to meet their payroll needs.






Mandy Scheidt
Amanda L. Scheidt 
Accountant 

Amanda resides in Loveland, OH and is married to her husband Kelly and they have two daughters. She graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a B.S. in Accounting.

Amanda has been practicing accounting and finance since 1999 with retail companies such as HSNI, Jarden Corp and Pomeroy.   

In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her family and friends, exercising, traveling and camping.

Danielle is a resident of Ross, Ohio, is married to her husband Scott and they have two children. She graduated from Miami University with a B.S. in Business.

Before joining Baker and Associates in 2011, Danielle was practicing Industrial Accounting for eight years with Foppe Technical Group/Accounting Associate, and also worked at Axcess Financial as a Staff Accountant.

Terri has been with Baker and Associates for over ten years providing clerical and administrative support. She is a resident of Hamilton, Ohio, and enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and volunteer work.

Roni is a resident of Hamilton, Ohio and has 2 daughters. She is a graduate of Purdue University with a B.S. in Accounting and has been with Baker & Associates since 2009. She enjoys traveling, adventure and reading.





Carol Lange

Carol has a degree from Miami University in Business Technology. She has worked in corporate and public accounting, and individual, payroll and business taxes since 1980.

A resident of Hanover Township, Carol and her husband Mark, have 3 married daughters and seven grandsons. She is a graduate of Ross High School.  Carol is a member of The Shandon Congregational Church where she has served as Treasurer of Disbursements and on other committees and boards. She is currently a Sunday School teacher in the youth program. Carol enjoys spending time with her grandsons, and traveling with family and friends.

Jeannie Broering

Jeannie is a graduate of Cumberland College and Knoxville College of Business.

An original resident of Hamilton since 1968, Jeannie now resides in Hanover Township. She has been involved in the tax and accounting business since 1976 with experience in preparation of personal, corporate, estate, and trust returns. Expertise also includes the preparation of payroll and payroll tax returns as well as sales tax returns. Prior to working for a CPA firm, Jeannie was the finance manager for Lodder's Marine for 2 years and managed the finance department for Hern Marine for 10 years.

Jeannie has six children and 10 grandchildren and spends her free time reading and enjoys attending sports events, watching her grandchildren play baseball, football, basketball and soccer.
